Putin Pointing to Defense Based on New Physical Principles

Sept. 12, 2023, 2022 (EIRNS)—TASS quoted Russian President Vladimir Putin as saying during a meeting with the session moderators at the 8th Eastern Economic Forum: “If one looks into the security sphere, new physical principles weapons will ensure the security of any country in the near historic perspective. We understand this very well and are working on it.”

The President was concluding a response to remarks by V. Pirozhkov, who said he had moderated a session on “Technological Development of Russia: How To Overtake without Catching Up.” The entirety of the exchanges between President Putin and the Vladivostok moderators is posted to the Kremlin’s Russian page.
