Bidens ‘Were Being Bribed’ Says Fired Ukrainian Prosecutor Shokin

Aug. 27, 2023, 2022 (EIRNS)—“I do not want to deal in unproven facts. But my first personal conviction is that yes, this was the case. They were being bribed. The fact that Joe Biden gave away $1 billion in U.S. money in exchange for my dismissal—my firing—isn’t that alone a case of corruption?” So said fired Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin in an interview with Brian Kilmeade at Fox.

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) tweeted in response, “Once Viktor Shokin started investigating Burisma, Biden made sure he was fired.”

Shokin’s accusations are routinely denounced by Biden defenders as entirely unfounded. Biden bragged in a January 2018 televised interview with the Council on Foreign Relations about his role in getting Shokin fired.
