Ray McGovern’s Video Appeal to Pope Francis

Jan. 10, 2023, 2022 (EIRNS)—Pax Press Agency in Geneva posted a one-minute video appeal to Pope Francis today by Ray McGovern, co-founder of Veterans Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS), with the message: Stop a nuclear confrontation over the war in Ukraine. “Follow the good example of your predecessor, Pope John Paul II, and send an emissary to Washington, before there’s a nuclear exchange between Russia and the United States.” The statement is edited from a longer McGovern message and interview made today for Germany’s EWTN-TV, Catholic network.
