Obama’s New Libya War Exposed as Another War Crime

Aug. 3, 2016 (EIRNS)—Daniel McAdams of the Ron Paul Institute today exposed Obama’s launching of a new war on Libya as a fraud and another war crime for the killer President.

Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook indicated that the bombing in Sirte, the birthplace of Muammar Gaddafi, is the beginning of a more sustained U.S. airstrike campaign, approved by the Africom Command.

McAdams makes these observations:

  1. There was no ISIS before Obama’s criminal destruction of Libya in 2011.

  2. The Libyan Government of National Accord is a governing body created by the United Nations and sent into Libya on a ship from Tunisia—and not selected by the Libyan people. The U.S. is thus bombing Libya to consolidate the power of a non-elected government that the United States installed because the previous government was not elected.

  3. Again, the United States has used the 2001 Authorization to Use Military Force as the authority for the bombing of Libya, which was not involved in any way with the 2001 attacks. ISIS did not exist at the time of 9/11.

  4. Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook reported that the bombing resulted in the destruction of a tank and a few trucks. The cost of a round of airstrikes on Iraq or Syria is approximately $8.5 million.

  5. There has been no media interest in the appearance of ISIS in Libya.
