NATO September Exercise Rehearsing Nuclear Attack on Russia?

Aug. 3, 2015 (EIRNS)—An anti-war source near Mainz said today that not only are her group’s activists are not only worried about the Turkish air raids in Syria and Iraq, in addition to what is going on in Ukraine and the Baltic states, as increasing the threat of a big war.

They have also received information from a U.S. anti-war source that a considerable part of the NATO exercise "Trident Juncture" beginning in September, will be rehearsals of the use of nuclear weapons against Russia.

This includes the B61 bombs stationed in Buechel, a lot of aircraft of numerous NATO member countries capable of carrying and delivering nuclear weapons, plus the capabilities which the United States has, notably at sea. Also Ramstein Airbase will be involved most likely, and this involves combat drones (non-nuclear, naturally).

"Trident Juncture" is forecast to be a whole set of aggressive exercises, the biggest of its kind in 25 years or more.

These anti-war activists are also aware that outright hawks, newly appointed by Obama and testifying about the "existential threat Russia poses to the United States," are about to take power at the top of the U.S. military now.
