Five More Signers on House Glass-Steagall Bill

May 17, 2015 (EIRNS)—On May 16, five more members of Congress—four Democrats and one Republican—were listed as signers onto House Resolution 381, the Glass-Steagall restoration bill, bringing the total to 49 signers, including the Sponsor, Rep. Marcie Kaptur (D-Ohio). The new signers are Rep. Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.), Rep. Suzan Del Bene (D-Wash.), Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.), Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio), and Rep. David Cicilline (D-R.I.).
